    Hi,

Don't directly delete these transport requests. For safety purpose you do the following.

    1. Go to the path in OS level
    2. save the File properties along with file permisions.
    3. Move these files along with dependent request to another folder (ensure the space is available).
    4. then you see the working of your server for a brief period and then you can move to your system / delete.

Just not possible to explain it that way. Technically as a basis guy - you can just Delet the Transports from the Que and remove it from Co File and Data File Folder -

First we need to understand the Technical and Functional Pro/Cons - Discuss the same with your Management then come up with the solution.

    Hi,

By seeing the size of the transport request, it is client export generated requested.

    1. If the import is successful, then this request can be removed after taking the approvals.
    2. Regarding the OS Path, being a BASIS guy, he has to know, where his transport request is being stored. Any how, I am specifing th path '/usr/sap/trans/data' & '/usr/sap/trans/cofiles'

Ok what is the actual purpose of deleating the files - Do you want to use the Space - Am I correct

Yes You can delete It - No Issues - If space is the Issue then Just Go for System Reorginzation - you will huge amount of space.

IF TP Request Generated during Scc8 and the Client Copy is Succesfull - Just go ahead and Delete it No side effects.

    JUST GO AHEAD.

    hi,

Actual purpose is to release space, each request (3 Nos) is of 8 GB, this is generated thru scc8 and successful, I will also check system reorganization, if you can guide me about tcode, that will also help me a lot.

    Thanks a lot.

Go ahead using BR Tools(OS level) - Thats one way of going ahead -

    Second Option would be

Check the TDMS functionality to refresh the QA/Sandbox environment in Sap, works great and support ERP/BI/CRM environments

Brtools and SAPDBA are the part of SAP and they are not the integral part of Database (Oracle or Ms SQL).
One needs to have the right version of Brtools and SAPDba to use them on the server Brtools are available of different OS and Different Database.

    Hello,

Please do understand that SAPDBA/BRtools will only work with Oracle database..

It wont work with any other database.
