Cost center master blocking

Hi,

we have wroungly created some cost center, we may have two options deletion or blocking

I want help from you, pl tell me the procedure in brief for both of above said options, how may I go head to do that.

I'm doing this first time & hence require complete cycle of procedures.. ...to do it successfully.

Hi,

Please check whether transaction data exists in these Cost Centers before deleting.
If you dont have anything, you can delete through KS04. If you have data in these
cost centers but still you want to delete, go to SE16N and enter the relative tables Viz. CSSK, CSSL, CSKS respectively and execute. You will get the data entries and you select all and delete. Then you can proceed through KS04 to finally delete. To Block them, you can go to KS02 and Click GO TO and choose change analysis period and make changes in the field To period and save for the entries cannot be posted after this period. Hope this may help you.
